OUR CLUSTER TRACK RECORD

2012

Development of scalable Cluster platform for large truck OEM.

2013

Cluster user-interface development and design for EV OEM.

2014

We started a production cluster project together with a large truck OEM. Besides developing the software, on behalf of the OEM, the project also introduced a new way of working including agile development, new supplier relations and a toolchain that connects all requirements.

2015

Development of a fully graphical Cluster demo for a truck OEM. Development of a fully graphical Cluster user-interface in QT for a truck Tier 1 supplier. Development of a Instrument Cluster Platform and development toolchain for a Chinese Tier 1 supplier.

INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER (IPC) FOR GM WORLDWIDE

We’ve developed the functional software, graphical framework and user-interface for all GM vehicles since 2008, including Saab, Opel, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Buick and Corvette. As of today, more than 25 million vehicles use our software with near-zero software recalls.

DEVELOPMENT OF A FULLY DISPLAY CLUSTER FOR CHEVROLET VOLT AND OPEL AMPERA

We’ve also developed GM’s first fully graphical cluster for the Chevrolet Volt. The development was done using Linux, OpenGLes and Cascades.

HMI DEVELOPMENT OF THE USER INTERFACE FOR THE NEVS ELECTRICAL VEHICLE

We’ve developed both the cluster and infotainment software/HMI. The development of the infotainment system was done with OpenGL and Android GFW.

DEVELOPMENT OF A FULLY GRAPHICAL CLUSTER DEMO FOR A TRUCK MANUFACTURER

The development was done with state-of-the-art software environment, including Linux and Qt. Not possible to show cluster images as it hasn’t been released to the public yet.

AUTOMOTIVE GRADE ANDROID

WHAT IS IT?

Automotive Grade Android (AGA) is an open source software platform that enables you to integrate your Android application with an In-Vehicle Infotainment system. It uses standard, well-known tools to allow developers to integrate applications with the vehicle. Its target audience is developer who want to develop vehicle aware applications as well as system builders who want to build vehicle-ready infotainment and conncetivity solutions.

WHAT CAN I DO WITH IT?

Automotive Grade Android lets your application extend its capabilities to that of the vehicle. Automotive Grade Android provides an API to the vehice, both to read data and to inject data. You can adapt your existing applications, or write new ones, in order to:

  • make them vehicle aware
  • provide better interfaces based on context
  • minimize distraction while driving
  • integrate with other connected services and much more.

SWEDSPOT AND AGA?

Swedspot is the initiator and main contributor to AGA. In fact much of the Automotive Grade Android code and ideas were Swedspot contributions. We love this open-source initiative and we continously add new cool features to the project.
